At a time of the global crisis of Covid 19 and the pandemic that is sweeping the world, BMSD, is grateful to NHS staff at all levels- first responders, health carers, doctors nurses, cleaners and to all the others working tirelessly in providing essential services.
Covid 19 infects humans of every race, religion, ethnicity, gender and class. Health workers the world over are sacrificing their lives in protecting all of us without discrimination.
What Covid 19 has clearly demonstrated is that we are all equal in nature, that this virus knows no boundaries. We are all fighting this as equals. Many health workers are selflessly risking their lives to save us all, to save the world. All deserve a mention for their selfless commitment and courage. NHS workers of diverse backgrounds are getting infected. We sincerely hope they survive.
The first three British doctors who have given their lives were of Muslim heritage:
Adil El Tayar, Sudan
May their souls rest in peace.
BMSD will be doing what it can to help in this national crisis. Stay safe. Stay indoors.
