Tehmina Kazi (Director of British Muslims for Secular Democracy): A Reading and a Talk

Tehmina Kazi is the Director of Media at the organisation British Muslims for Secular Democracy.
She will be reading from her story ‘The Tulip Asylum’, exploring homosexuality in contemporary Iran, and she will also give a talk about BMSD’s own activism around LGBTIQ issues and Islam.
This is the fourth and last event this academic year in the Queering Islam series, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, chaired by Dr Alberto Fernandez Carbajal (School of Arts).
