Research participants needed

We are researching human rights and are looking for people to participate in two focus groups. The first focus group will be about the ‘stop and search’ policy and the second, about forced marriage.

  • Are you are over 18 years of age?
  • Do you have an interest in the ‘stop and search’ policy or forced marriage?
  • Or, do you have a personal experience of being ‘stopped and searched’ or forced into marriage?
  • Perhaps someone close to you has been ‘stopped and searched’ or forced to marry?

If you would like to participate and be involved in this groundbreaking research then please contact: humanrights@bmsd.org.uk

Please tell us: your name, you age, your gender and if you would prefer to be in a same- sex focus group, and why you would like to participate. We are looking for a wide range of people so you do not have to be Muslim or from a particular ethnic group to participate.

This research is conducted by the charity, British Muslims for Secular Democracy, and is funded by the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust.

All enquiries are confidential.
